Kissel Bros. Shows is one of Ohio's largest mobile
amusement companies. Now in our fourth generation,
we have been serving many of the finest fairs,
festivals and community events throughout Ohio and
Northern Kentucky since 1932.
Currently, we own and operate nearly 30 mobile
amusement rides. We also offer quality game and food
concessions for a complete modern midway.
Our operating season normally runs between mid April
to the third weekend of October. During this period,
we service over 30 events in Ohio alone.

Q: Does It
Cost Anything To Have Amusements At An Event?

A:
Very little. In fact, your organization
stands to gain substantially by
sponsoring a festival or carnival.
Kissel Bros. will pay your organization
a percentage of the gross ride ticket
sales and a flat rate for each game or
food concession. Your only expense might
be for electric and water services for
our living accommodations plus security,
restrooms, and refuge containers. |

Q: Does Kissel Bros.
Provide It's Own Insurance?

A:
Yes. It is State law to carry midway
liability insurance. Ohio's inspectors
will not even process an annual permit
without proof of adequate insurance
coverage. Kissel Bros. carries liability
insurance which surpasses the State
minimum requirements and provides each
of our sponsors with a certificate of
such coverage naming the sponsor as
additional insured. Of course, we
recommend that you have a specialist
review the certificate and consider
additional insurance if he or she
suggests. |

Provide It's Own Electricity For The Rides?

A:
Yes. We have 5 mobile generators capable
of supplying over 1 thousand kilowatts
of combined output. We also have one of
the most modern electrical distribution
systems in the industry which meets, or
exceeds, the latest version of the
National Electric Code. |

Q: How Far In Advance
Does Kissel Bros. Schedule It's Events?

A:
Our schedule consists of a great number
of fairs and festivals with long term
agreements. Therefore our schedule
changes very little from year to year.
However, there are often available weeks
during the early Spring and Fall due to
calendar changes. If you would like us
to consider your event, please contact
us as soon as possible. Our schedule is
normally completed before the first of
the year. |

Q: Does Kissel
Bros. Rent Rides For Private Functions?

A:
Yes. However, short term rentals involve
substantial overhead expenses which must
be passed to the person or organization
renting the equipment. It is often a
better value to consider a longer rental
period.
Rentals should also be scheduled during
periods when the ride of interest will
not be in use at one of our scheduled
events. Removing a ride from an event
for rental would increase the rental
expense proportional to the amount of
revenue the ride would have generated at
the event. |

Q: Does Kissel
Bros. Provide All Necessary Labor?

A:
Yes. We provide the labor required to
assemble, operate and dismantle all
equipment we supply. The only exception
might be our request that your
organization provide ticket sellers and
adequate staff to account for and
process ride ticket sales.
